Respecting Nature: A Photography Class on the Nature Trail

When:                   Saturday, July 27th from 9am – 11am

Where:                Friends of Jordan River Watershed Building at 101 Union St, East Jordan

and Don & Eileen Klein Nature Trail

Who:                     All skill levels welcome (minors 15 and under accompanied by an adult)

Cost:                     $30/person – includes one photo submission to FJR calendar contest

Bring:                    Your camera (any kind: smartphone, DSLR, disposable, etc) and a sun hat if needed

Join us for a fun and informative photography class on the beautiful nature trail!

Learn how to:

  • Identify the fascinating creatures you might find along the trail
  • How to find the best composition and lighting
  • Respect wildlife while capturing stunning photos
  • Recognize and avoid plants you wouldn’t want to touch

The 2-hour class, led by Heather Outman, will include an introduction to the Jordan River Watershed, verbal instructions, and a walking photoshoot along the nature trail where you can ask questions and get personalized feedback. Perfect for photographers of all levels-don’t miss this chance to enhance your skills and appreciate nature! Class size limited to 40 people
